George Mitsopoulos is a performance-driven technology executive with more than 20 years of management experience growing recurring revenue and driving value creation for leading SaaS brands. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer for Broadvoice, an award-winning global cloud communication provider with a focus on CX and AI technologies powering mid-market enterprises and BPOs with operations in North America, LATAM, and EMEA. In this role, Mitsopoulos oversees Broadvoice’s global operations including CX, business systems, and business intelligence teams worldwide. He’s focused on driving Broadvoice’s growth through a first-class customer experience, company culture, innovative product development, efficient operations, and strategic partnerships. He also actively supports the company’s key alliances and advisory boards. Mitsopoulos was formerly Broadvoice’s Chief Product Officer and architect of Broadvoice’s Product Vision, innovation, and acquisition strategy.Mitsopoulos came to Broadvoice through the 2015 acquisition of IKANO Communications, which provides broadband services to wholesale carriers and retail customers, by Broadvoice’s parent company Teutonic Holdings LLC. At IKANO, he led operations as COO – for the $50 million company. IKANO was backed by venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners out of New York. Mitsopoulos joined IKANO in 2006 when it acquired DSL Extreme, where he began his technology career as General Manager in 2002.During his tenure at IKANO and continuing to the present day, Mitsopoulos has specialized in leading venture-backed and early-stage startups from product inception to exponential growth. At IKANO, he was part of the team that founded DNAmail, a hosted Microsoft Exchange and Google Apps provider, which was sold to Sherweb in 2011. IKANO also acquired and grew cloud provider Virtacore, which built, hosted, and operated VMware’s first vCloud public cloud platform white-labeled under the VMware brand. Virtacore’s service became the framework for VMware’s vCloud Air service.Mitsopoulos is always looking for opportunities to support technology innovation and is an active angel investor in several startups, including CafeX, LeadIQ, Balloon, GMTM, Kush Marketplace, and BeeRoll as well as a founding member and investor in stealth AI start-up AthenaCX which exited in 2024.Mitsopoulos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Operations and Management Information Systems. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, and 2 kids. He is an avid supporter of Greek culture and is active within the Greek community. Mitsopoulos enjoys reading, listening to the latest podcasts, and furthering his breadth of knowledge within the tech and start-up community.
